I’m not sure that this is illegal at all. I operate mybabecams.com, and the vast majority of the performers on the site are Philippine-based. The Philippine statute that I’ve heard mentioned repeatedly is “anti-trafficking”, which I believe is keeping performers against their will. All the performers I know of who work these sites are more than happy to have room and board, be able to stay out of the bars, and make a very decent salary (for school and for helping families). Can anyone provide information on why this is illegal in the Philippines? (btw … very ironic that prostitution is ubiquitious and blatant, yet cam operations are busted all the time)
